The Healthy Foundations Story

At the very core of why we do what we do, Healthy Foundations was founded to empower women to live the vibrant lives they have always been entitled to by establishing a foundation of health to move about their lives with. From a young age, women are done a major disservice by teaching us that we are a victim to our natural cycles, health only looks one way or in a certain body type and our connection to nature and ourselves is less important than the “success” we should strive for outside of ourselves.

 

We’re here to change that narrative - to teach women how to live in sync with their natural cycles, support their bodies with proper nutrition and movement practices and to cultivate the space around them to support their health and wellness - mentally, physically and spiritually. Once incorporating these health-promoting practices into your life, you begin to see that you are not a victim of your hormones or menstrual cycles, you are in absolute control of your health and your environment is truly of the utmost importance to live a healthy life. Simple daily practices and an environment created for your unique needs can elevate your being, freeing you to live your life more beautifully (and healthfully) than you ever have before.

 

So how do we do it? We offer online courses and workshops that take you through everything you need to know to begin a life that prioritizes your health - mentally, physically and spiritually - above all else. We believe that when our health is priority number one, all else becomes enriched and flows easier as we have more energy and space to be fully present and commit to all other aspects of our lives. We also offer one-on-one coaching sessions where we start by taking a look at your health history, your daily habits, routines and nutrition, and the environments you’re in each and every day. We then create a plan to get you on the journey to achieving your health and wellness goals. These one-on-one coaching sessions are limited, with only a few spots available. After years of struggling with my own health without many places to turn, I set out on my own journey of healing that forever changed my life. I had been diagnosed with a condition that I was told I would have to live with forever and the only symptom management was prescription medication. I could not and would not accept this as the one and only solution to my health problem. So I got to work on researching anything other than pharmaceuticals to regain my health.


This led to years of learning to put my health first - nutritionally, mentally, spiritually and physically. After I radically changed my own health, I was determined to find a way to be a guide for other women to do just the same thing. I wanted to empower women to take responsibility for their health through education and habit change that would establish an unshakeable foundation of wellness and shift the way they viewed their health and bodies. 


I enrolled in the Institute of Integrative Nutrition in 2015 and began coaching women as soon as my program was complete. Since then, I have coached women to tune into their intuition, reconnect with their bodies and begin to live a life that feels joyful and vibrant while supporting hormone imbalances like PCOS, adrenal dysfunction, thyroid dysfunction and weight loss struggles. I’ve worked both individually and in a clinical setting with an integrative medical team to get the best health outcomes for my clients. 


I’ve also completed an advanced certification program in hormone health coaching.
